mick eccles2006-07-11 01:05:41system process uses over 90% of cpu - only basic processes running
Pól Ó Duibhir2006-08-06 12:30:36system process uses 70-90% or thereabouts of cpu with supposedly only basic processes running. Other programmes crawl. Any ideas?

Anonymous2007-02-04 03:03:01I believe this is the "System Idle Process" - it simply indicates what percentage of capacity is idle. I think there is a minor error in how What's Running identifies it.

linda2007-05-22 07:02:52task manager shows cpu usage at 100% pegged and not moving, also another small program monitor is also showing it pegged.
